Curlew

Curlews get their own page because, well I am passionate about them and more importantly about their conservation. As the highest priority UK conservation red listed bird, they are under serious threat of extinction and a world without the call of a curlew echoing over a salt marsh would be a very sad place

So I am highlighting this stunning bird to bring to your attention their precarious place on this earth. We need to do everything we can to try and preserve and regenerate their habitats, protect the existing population and make sure this beautiful bird survives.
