As an amateur photographer I'm passionate about bird photography
The experience of watching wildlife is not only a joy in itself but capturing that moment in a photograph is just a total thrill.

Our shop
All our products are printed to order in our little garden workshop and all of the images have been taken by me at my favourite local nature reserves, my garden, my local beach and green spaces.

About my pics
​My portfolio doesn't have a definitive style or focus on any one particular group of birds. It also doesn't try to be anything that it really isn't, so everything you see is just what I saw at the time.
​While of course the images have had some post processing, I try to keep it to a minimum and will only brighten the dull, smooth a little noise when necessary and trust the sharpness of the lens, a fast shutter speed and a bit of technique for the rest.
They certainly aren't all perfect, but really it's about the experience of the moment rather than striving for the ultimate in image quality.
Hmm, maybe I'd be lying if I said that wasn't the goal, but then my killer get out clause for a less than perfect shot is always 'hey I'm only an amateur'.
